Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

EDUTEX Industrie places particular importance on the protection of personal data. This privacy policy explains what personal data may be collected when you use the EDUTEX Industrie website, for what purposes it is used, how long it is kept, and what your rights are.

This policy covers the EDUTEX Industrie website, in particular its contact form.

Data controller

The controller responsible for the personal data collected on this site is:

EDUTEX Industrie
Sole proprietorship
France

Full identification details for the business are available on the Legal Notice page.

For any question about the protection of your personal data, or to exercise your rights, you can contact: contact@edutex-industrie.fr

Personal data collected

The site collects personal data primarily when you use the contact form. Depending on the information you choose to provide, the data that may be collected includes:

Required fields are indicated directly on the form. Data that is not necessary to process your request should not be included in the form.

Separately, and only if you consent via the cookie banner, the site also uses an audience-measurement tool detailed in the Audience measurement section below. This tool is designed to collect no identifying personal data at all: no name, no email, no phone number, no form content, no raw IP address.

Purposes of processing

Data submitted through the contact form is used solely to:

EDUTEX Industrie does not use the data collected through this form to build or sell personal data files. No newsletter or automated prospecting campaign is currently offered from this site.

Legal basis

When you voluntarily contact EDUTEX Industrie to obtain information, a proposal, or a quote regarding a training program, the processing of your data may be necessary for taking pre-contractual steps at your request.

Where processing takes place within an existing contractual relationship, it may also be necessary for the performance of that contract.

Where the retention or use of data relies on another legal basis, that basis is determined according to the specific purpose and circumstances of the processing.

Recipients of the data

Data submitted through the form is accessible to authorized personnel within EDUTEX Industrie where necessary to process your request.

It may also be processed by the technical providers necessary for the operation of the website and email service, strictly within the scope of their function and in accordance with applicable data protection obligations.

EDUTEX Industrie does not sell your personal data and does not rent it out for commercial purposes.

Email service and technical providers

Messages submitted through the contact form are sent to the professional mailbox used by EDUTEX Industrie. The email service used is provided by Gandi.

Gandi provides, among other things, email services and states that it implements security and data protection measures as part of its services.

Processing carried out by technical providers is governed by the applicable contractual terms and by data protection regulations.

Retention period

Personal data is not kept indefinitely. Data submitted as part of a contact or quote request is kept for the time necessary to process that request and follow up on related exchanges.

Where a request does not lead to a business relationship, the data is kept for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact with the person concerned, unless a different period is required due to a legal obligation or a legitimate retention need.

Where a business relationship is established, the data necessary to manage it is kept for the duration of that relationship, then for the periods required to comply with applicable legal obligations, in particular accounting, tax, or evidentiary requirements.

Data that is no longer necessary is deleted or, where possible and relevant, anonymized.

Emails received in the professional mailbox are subject to the retention rules applicable to that mailbox. EDUTEX Industrie carries out regular management of this data to avoid indefinite retention.

The retention period for personal data is determined in accordance with the storage limitation principle set out in the GDPR.

Audience-measurement data (see the Audience measurement section below) is kept for a maximum of 14 months. Proof of your cookie choice (date, choice made) is kept for 3 years so that it can be demonstrated if needed. These periods are enforced by an automatic monthly purge.

Cookies and other trackers

The site uses one strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice. No other cookie or tracker is set without your prior consent — collected via the banner shown on your first visit.

You can view the full list of cookies used at any time in our cookie policy, and change or withdraw your consent via the "Manage my cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

If new cookies or trackers requiring notice or consent are introduced in the future, the relevant information will be updated and, where necessary, a consent mechanism will be implemented.

Audience measurement

If you accept the "Audience measurement" category in the banner or the cookie preference center, the site collects anonymized traffic statistics, for the sole purpose of understanding how the site is used and improving its content. This tool is developed and hosted by EDUTEX Industrie itself: no data is sent to any third-party service (no Google Analytics, no Matomo Cloud, no other external tool).

The information collected, only after your consent, is:

Never collected: your name, email address, phone number, message content, raw IP address, or any other directly identifying data.

Country of origin: the country is determined by matching your IP address against an IP geolocation database kept locally on our servers (DB-IP database, Lite edition, Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license). This resolution happens entirely on our servers, with no call to any external service: your IP address is only used in memory, for the duration of this calculation and the hashing described below, and is never stored in clear text or sent to a third party. Only the country (e.g. "France") is retained; this is a country-level estimate, not precise geolocation, and its accuracy depends on the database used.

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via "Manage my cookies", just as easily as you gave it. Continued browsing without any action on your part never counts as consent.

Retention period: audience-measurement data is kept for a maximum of 14 months, then automatically deleted.

Security

EDUTEX Industrie implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, alteration, unauthorized access, or any other form of unlawful processing.

The contact form is transmitted over a secure connection where one is available on the site.

Data entered into the form is not intended to be stored in a site database where the site's technical setup provides only for its transmission by email.

Access to the professional mailbox containing incoming requests is restricted to authorized individuals.

Mechanisms to protect against automated submissions and unwanted messages may also be used to protect the form and the mailbox. As part of this, a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address (obtained by hashing) may be kept temporarily, for a maximum of one hour, to detect an abnormal number of submissions; it is then automatically deleted.

Transfers of data outside the European Union

The email services used by EDUTEX Industrie are provided by Gandi.

Gandi states that its public infrastructure is located within the European Union, notably in France (Saint-Denis) and Luxembourg (Bissen).

To our knowledge, data hosted as part of the GandiMail service is processed within the European Union. However, certain technical processing or related services may involve providers or operations that could result in a transfer of data outside the European Union.

Where such transfers are necessary, Gandi states that they are governed in accordance with the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular through standard contractual clauses or data protection agreements.

EDUTEX Industrie does not itself carry out any transfer of personal data to a country outside the European Union as part of the contact form's operation.

Your rights

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, you have, among others, the following rights under the conditions set out in the GDPR:

You can exercise your rights by contacting: contact@edutex-industrie.fr

A request may require reasonable verification of your identity to prevent an unauthorized person from accessing your data.

Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL

If, after contacting EDUTEX Industrie, you believe your rights regarding your personal data have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL).

CNIL
3 Place de Fontenoy
